Responsible editors are Prof.Teiji Watanabe and Prof.Hideaki Shibata who are the member of the GLP Sapporo Nodal Office.
Theme of this issue is "Trends and Directions of Land Change Sciences towards Regional and Global Sustainability".
The first article which is written by our member introduces an overview of the roles and activities of the GLP and the GLP Sapporo Nodal Office and emphasizes the importance of addressing Asian issues.
This issue also carries 11 articles which are written by 6 research groups.
