International Training course on ecological and environmental research in Taiwan | March 5-9, 2018 | National Dong Hwa University & Danongdafu Forest Park (DFP), Hualien, Taiwan
This training course is arranged for graduate student (Master course) to learn various research methods in land systems including carbon cycling, vegetation structure, wildlife dynamics, soil and water quality in secondary forest plantation where has dynamic history of land-use change for last decades in Taiwan. The course is co-organized by National Dong Hwa University, Hokkaido University, and the GLP Japan Nodal Office. See the 1st circular for details.

Joint international training course on ecological and environmental research in Taiwan

Objectives: This course aims to provide students with the ability to know how to collect data in the field, analyze these data, and apply them in management planning, policy development, and other needs.
Learning items:
1. Describe the critical role of planning and design of ecological and environment al monitoring program:
2. Learn how to use monitoring tools and techniques
3. Practice sampling design and data management (Collecting, summarizing, and interpreting)
